I farted. OMG I'm still farting!

The title is a quote from Elise who felt the need to inform us every time she farted. Yesterday, Boy Scouts were selling popcorn in the student center. It looked good, but I didn't have any money. :( Oh well. I'm in charge of the Rehab Club's bulletin board design. I should get on it. Yesterday was The Alliance meeting. We played a big game of Apples to Apples. It was fun; I was relaxing. Lol. My friend is sleeping on my shoulder. haha. I'm listening to Dani Shay, who is amazing. :) You should give her a listen if you have the chance.

Art and Chex Mix

It's been a while. I went home a few weekends ago. It was nice to get away.

Yesterday we went to Boston to the Museum of Fine Arts. It was really nice. Above are some pictures. When we got back we went Cumby bumping (went to Cumberland Farms). Carson bought 11 bags of Chex Mix. He was deprived. I didn't go to bed until 2:15. I'm really tired but I have things I need to do, so I am awake. My sister is having her Nursing Blessing Ceremony today at her college. Wish I could be there. I hope everything goes well. Hope everything is well where ever you are.

Bombs, Bicycles, and Big Bucks

On Tuesday, there was a biker who was hit by a car. Then later, there was a motorcyclist that was hit from a car that was doing an illegal u-turn. He is okay but his motorcycle is totaled.

Last night, someone was exploding dry ice bombs. It was loud and annoying.

Today, I got a job! I am soooo happy! Now I will be able to have money for gas so I can go home! Yay! I will be working as a special projects assistant in the rehabilitation department. I will be starting work tomorrow at nine thirty.

Clean up on aisle 19

I got a mocha frozen cappuccino milkshake from the snack shack. I went to get it from my bureau when it slipped and plummeted to the floor! I was so sad! I did manage to save some though. :] What spilled half of it was on my umbrella and the rest splattered on the floor. It took three trips to the bathroom for huge wads of toilet paper to clean it all up. Sigh* Oh well! I made a goal to reduce the amount of sugar I eat. Perhaps this was a sign that I'm bad a sticking to goals? Or perhaps it just means I'm a klutz? Most likely the latter. Lol.

Thing unexpected

I was talking to my roommate last night about her goal of meeting two new people each day. I asked if there was anyone who she could meet. She said, "Well there's some people in my....Oh I got a text!" I never found out about her goal. "I bet you never expected this when you saw my name as your roommate."

I have a plaque that says "We don't stop laughing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop laughing" The other day, I only say part of it. It read, "stop laughing, grow old" Was this a sign that I need to grow up? Or perhaps it was a sign that I'm growing up too fast and have forgotten what it is like to let loose? Who knows...

Dinner Dash

This sock was in my laundry basket by mistake. So I made a sign and posted it on the CAs' office window.

Before heading out to dinner tonight it started pouring out of nowhere. The rain was coming down so hard it formed rivers near the sidewalks. Then it stopped when we got into the dining hall. Typical. Dinner was good. I had mashed potatoes with steak, red peppers and portabella mushrooms. Yum!

Back in the dorm, my roommate was showing me a picture of her and her brothers when they were little. "See this is Adam, he's wicked tall now; and this is Mitchell, he's wicked tall now too. This is me, I'm still short...This is Grandpa." The other day we had to go to this concert. She was resting, so I woke her when we had to leave. She jumped out of bed and said, "Oh I've missed the concert." I said, "No you haven't. It's still Friday." Hahaha she thought she had slept until Saturday.

I should go switch my laundry over. Until tomorrow, God willing.

Monday- Secret Life on ABC at 8pm

Tuesday- Appointment at 10am at the health center (This time next week is when Glee is on!)

Wednesday- Club Fair

Thursday- The Alliance meeting

Friday- Friday- Hurray for the weekend! The Farmington fair is starting on the 18th and going until the 21st(?). I may be volunteering with equality maine to get signatures.

So glad the day is over

Spanish was fun as usual. We modeled and described clothing. Ana. and Phys. was alright. He seems to drift a lot about unnecessary things... Gym.... sucked. We did a circuit with medicine balls and it was okay at first, then the last station made me feel like I was going to throw up. I was glad that it was the last station. Then we made goals for the semester. My goals are to get my mile and a half down to fourteen minutes, eat less sugar, and to lose 4% of my body fat. Reasonable goals I think. I have a semester to reach these goals so I think I can make it. Ready, GO! I hope your day was as wonderful as you are!

Food from the Snack Shack

Steak and cheese and water hits the spot at nine at night on a Sunday. I have Spanish, Anatomy and Physiology, and Gym tomorrow. Fun fun. I need to check on my laundry soon. I thankfully got a washer in a reasonable amount of time. Now I am drying my clothes. I takes and hour so they should be done soon. Note to self: do laundry on Fridays. My mailbox combo is F U2. That was random. Have a wonderful night!

When your computer freezes...

...so you have to write your paper over again. Blah. At least it was written down before I started typing. I'm thinking of going to bed soon. Not that I will, but at least I'm thinking about it... That has to count for something. I don't really like my dorm bed. I don't really like my bed at home either. They both kind of suck. Oh well, at least I have bed. Sometimes you have to be grateful for the things you have.

Things I am excited for:

Glee is coming back on air on the 20th!!!! I'm so excited! I LOVE Glee! My favorite couple is Kurt and Blaine.

Oct. 11th because that's when I am signed up to use the wheelchair from the library for my Intro to Disabilities class.

5:30 on a Sunday and I've actually completed my homework

This blog was mainly created to be an outlet for my thoughts and frustrations as I attempt to navigate through my first year of college. I cannot guarantee posting every day, but I will try to up date it as often as possible. Since I have a moment I thought I would finally post something. I'm surprised that I have my homework done at a reasonable time tonight. Now I won't have to stay up late. Yay! Not that I actually get any work done when I stay up late. I usually dub around on Facebook or watch tv. Now if I stay up late, I will try to post about my day. I hope your day was as wonderful as you are! Go Beavers!
